When SPANK was in London recently, we made friends with the man behind a really great music project called BRIGHT LIGHT BRIGHT LIGHT.
As fate would have it, he is in New York and Bright Light Bright Light will be playing at CAKE SHOP tonight!!
Also on the bill: Nova Social (featuring SPANK favorite Xavier!) plus SPANK’s own DJ Will Automagic will be playing records between sets.

Grande Dame (formerly Crazy Girl, and before that Chantilly Lace) is a friend of SPANK who moved to London years ago. We had the pleasure of seeing her when we were there recently and she updated us on her recent projects.

In addition to being the vocalist for Grande Dame, the “mysterious” force behind this project (Tiff McGinnis!) is also the animator of this amazing video.
